Pawòlotek - Panorama du parler martiniquais est un projet artistique et culturel qui vise à dresser un portrait sonore de la société martiniquaise à travers l’expérience de la langue créole. En 2022, l’artiste Simone Lagrand a sillonné le territoire pour enregistrer ses manières de parler créole.
Ce projet soutenu par le Ministère de la Culture et France Relance est réalisé sous le label Mondes nouveaux en collaboration avec le Conservatoire du littoral.
Le projet se concrétise par un dispositif en deux technologies : un portail internet regroupant toutes les sources de diffusion des enregistrements ; et une application mobile (à venir en 2023).
Pawòlotek - Panorama du parler martiniquais is an artistic and cultural program that aims to paint a sound portrait of Martinique society through the experience of the Creole language.
In july and october 2022, artist Simone Lagrand criss-crossed the island to meet and record people speaking in Creole.
This program supported by the french Ministry of Culture and France Relance is realized under the label “Mondes nouveaux” in collaboration with the national Conservatoire du littoral.
The project is materialized by a device in two technologies: an internet portal gathering recordings, creative pieces and lexical keys; and a mobile application due for 2023.
